Gift Card

Give the gift of an unforgettable adventure above Lake Taupō!

Treat someone special to a Taupō Parasail gift card and let them experience the thrill of soaring up to 1,000 feet above the crystal-clear waters of New Zealand’s largest lake. With breathtaking views of the lake and surrounding mountains, it’s a memorable gift for birthdays, Christmas, celebrations or simply because.

Choose a solo, double or triple flight so they can enjoy the adventure on their own or share it with friends and whānau, subject to our operating weight requirements.

Each flight lasts approximately 10 minutes, with the option of a thrilling freefall descent and our popular Sky Dip—a refreshing splash in the lake before returning to the boat. From the gentle rise behind the boat to the peaceful feeling of being high above the water, it’s an experience they’ll never forget.

Solo Flight Gift Card

Give someone a sky-high adventure of their own! An unforgettable 10-minute parasailing flight with panoramic views of Lake Taupō from up to 1,000 feet, including an optional freefall descent and Sky Dip.

Double Flight Gift Card

An adventure made for two. Treat a couple, friends or family members to a shared flight above Lake Taupō, with spectacular views and the option of a freefall descent and Sky Dip.

Triple Flight Gift Card

Give three people the chance to make unforgettable memories together. Perfect for friends or family, a triple flight lets them share the excitement of soaring above Lake Taupō, subject to combined weight and weather conditions.

Redeeming Your Gift Card

The recipient can book their flight for an available date during our operating season. Advance bookings are recommended, especially during school holidays and peak summer periods.

All flights are subject to availability, weather conditions and operating weight requirements.

Please read our risk disclosure information.

Weight Restrictions

For safety, all flights are subject to minimum and maximum combined weight requirements. The weight of the flyers helps keep the parasail stable in the air, much like the tail of a kite.

• Minimum flight weight: Generally 70 kg combined.

• Maximum flight weight: Approximately 200 kg combined.

These limits may vary with weather and wind conditions. Lighter winds may require a higher minimum weight, while stronger winds may reduce the maximum allowable weight.

Our skipper assesses conditions before every flight and has the final authority on flight pairings and weights. Please consider the intended recipient’s weight and preferred flight option before purchasing.

Weather Conditions

Safety comes first. If weather conditions affect a booked flight, we’ll do our best to contact the recipient as early as possible and help arrange an alternative date.
